Clinical Negligence Solicitor Job - Leading Firm - Bristol/Remote Working

Your new firm

A stellar opportunity has arisen to join our leading international clients' clinical risk team in their rapidly growing Bristol office. With an international reputation, this firm has a global reach across their network of offices and are cementing their presence in the Bristol market. They are currently seeking a Clinical Risk Solicitor or Associate to join their team in Bristol. The team are currently working on a hybrid basis, with a mix of at-home and in-office working.

Your new role

This defendant clinical negligence role will see you handle an interesting and broad-ranging caseload for a range of clients. This team has an established reputation for excellence in advising on high-value and complex claims, defending both insurers and NHS organisations themselves. As a Clinical Risk solicitor, you will be handling a challenging caseload of high-value defendant clinical negligence work acting for a variety of clients, which may include work for NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, MDU, independent providers, and medical malpractice insurers. You will be acting as first and primary contact for clients on a day-to-day basis, providing them with commercially focused legal advice.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a Clinical Risk Solicitor, ideally with defendant experience, however applications are welcomed from good-quality claimant clinical negligence lawyers who are keen to make the move into defendant medical negligence work. The firm is also interested in hearing from bright, technically able solicitors with a litigation background who are looking to move into clinical negligence work, for example you might be a Solicitor/Associate with experience in clinical negligence, personal injury, civil litigation, or insurance law. Experience of an NHS Resolution or MDO panel firm would be desirable but is not essential, as the firm wants the best candidates no matter what their background is. You will possess excellent relationship and client handling skills and will also be able to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day-to-day issues. Applications are welcomed from those looking to work full and part-time.

What you'll get in return

You will have the opportunity to work for a national Clinical Risk market leader and a firm with both a global reach and significant presence in the Bristol market. You will receive a generous salary and good benefits package, together with ongoing career development support throughout your career.
