Boutique commercial firm in Leeds seeking a commercial litigation solicitor.

My client is quickly building a reputation as a quality provider of commercial legal services within the Yorkshire region and is the firm of choice for major law firms when referring their clients’ commercial disputes. Run by a team headed up by two experienced and industry-renowned partners, my client’s commercial litigation team are now looking to expand and grow by recruiting a talented junior lawyer with previous commercial litigation experience.

The successful candidate will become involved in handling a varied nature of claims and can expect to be a big part of my client’s work on claims within the High Court and Appeal Courts. You will work on behalf of a wide-ranging client base with both a national and international focus on claims reaching into the millions of pounds.

This role is targeted at quality and confident commercial litigation lawyers at a level ranging from NQ-3 PQE. Previous commercial litigation experience as part of a training contract / previous paralegal experience is essential. Candidates will need the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a collaborative and collegiate team and will need to be open to and contribute new ideas. The successful candidate will also need to be confidently capable of handling existing and new client relationships. Applying candidates must have strong academics and only applicants who are qualified to practice law in the United Kingdom will be considered.

You can expect to enjoy top quality work as well as a competitive salary and unique benefits package. Working for my client offers plenty of opportunities for progression and the chance to be part of a growing project with big growth ambitions. My client offers generous amounts of home working but is also keen to develop and retain its strong collegiate environment.
