KS1 Primary School Teacher Job, Chesterfield, up to £200 per day, full-time and part-time

Hays Education are currently recruiting for reliable and adaptable Primary teaching jobs in KS1 at Primary Schools across Chesterfield. These jobs are to cover in schools, both on a long-term basis as well as day to day cover. We are looking to recruit flexible teachers who want a job within KS1 in a variety of Primary Schools across Chesterfield as well as the wider region. Your new job
The jobs we have vary dependent on the needs of each school, and can be on a full-time or part-time basis. Supply teaching suits those who have a passion for teaching and can be flexible and adaptable, due to the diversity of the schools we work with. We are currently looking for teachers and ECTs who specialise in teaching at Key Stage 1. You need to be comfortable planning, marking and assessing National Curriculum schemes of work as dependent on the length of the job, this may be a requirement.
The successful candidate will be required to pick up a teacher’s day to day classroom responsibilities and required to cover KS1 classes. These classes will be expecting a consistent approach even though you will be providing supply cover for the day. If you like the challenge of working in multiple primary schools in Chesterfield with the potential for a different school each day then this is the role for you!
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working with Primary aged children for at least 20 days in the last 2 years
- Experience teaching in a Primary School, even better if you have been in KS1
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a UK QTS & a PGCE
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
