A Wrexham based Accountancy firm are seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a well-established firm, trading for over 50 years, continuing to provide genuine partnerships and delivering excellent service to clients. You will be a part of a general practice which supports a range of clients from varying industries. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team of accountancy professionals.

As Account Assistant, you will be responsible for accounts preparation for a range of clients from varying industries. You will have bookkeeping duties and will assist with VAT returns. You will assist the firm in the management of their client base and will gain exposure to all aspects of accountancy, including audit and VAT. You will be a point of contact for clients and will be required to assist clients with general queries.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience handling accounts for a range of clients and strong IT skills with experience in accounts software. This candidate will need to be AAT or part ACCA qualified. If you are interested in broadening your experience, this will be an excellent opportunity.

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £23,000 and £26,000 dependent on experience.
