This independent chartered accountancy firm based in the Northwest is seeking to appoint an Accounts Sem-Senior into their large and spacious office in the heart of Chester. Your new role

In your Accounts Semi-Senior role, you will be responsible for overseeing and preparing year-end, management accounts, VAT and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients working with a range of turnovers, reporting to managers alongside your work. Day-to-day duties will also include taking an active role in supporting the wider team members within the firm. You will also be required to develop strong client knowledge and build strong client relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

The firm is seeking a professional Accounts Semi-Senior who possesses previous experience within practice, preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, tax and VAT return as well as some exposure to training junior team members. You will be ACA/ACCA/AAT part qualified or qualified by experience. To succeed in this role, you will need strong knowledge of accountancy software whilst being eager to learn and progress professionally within the firm, which will allow you to benefit from the comprehensive support on offer.
