Neighbourhood Assistant (Work from Home)


Location:Manchester, UK
Salary:£15 per hour (PAYE) / £17 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Type:Temporary, 3–6 months
Hours:Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
Start Date:Immediate

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and community-oriented individual to join our team as a Neighbourhood Assistant. This work-from-home role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the local community of Manchester while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing Choice Based Lettings:Efficiently manage the allocation of properties, ensuring a fair and transparent process for all applicants.
  • Tenant Referencing & Compliance:Conduct thorough referencing checks and ensure all compliance measures are met for new tenants.
  • Communication with Tenants:Maintain regular contact with tenants via phone calls, addressing any queries and fostering positive relationships.
  • Financial Administration:Raise purchase orders (PO’s) and manage financial transactions related to housing management.
  • Record Keeping:Update and maintain housing management records with accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in housing management or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in using housing management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality service to tenants.
