Customer Service Administrator - Bridgend - Temporary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing customer enquiries, and supporting the administrative functions of the customer service department. This role is crucial in ensuring that our public sector services are delivered efficiently and effectively to the community.


Your new role

  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Maintain and update customer records in the database.
  • Process customer service requests and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for the customer service department.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery.
  • Handle complaints and escalate issues to the Customer Service Manager when necessary.
  • Monitor and track customer service metrics and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Support the implementation of customer service policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on service protocols and policies.

  • Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in the public sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
