Commercial & Contracts Analyst

Your new role

  • Analyse commercial agreements, including contracts, proposals, and amendments, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies, legal and procurement requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, procurement, and other business teams as appropriate, to produce, review and negotiate requirements, programme and tender documentation, and contract terms, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Evaluate pricing structures, payment terms, and other commercial aspects of contracts to identify opportunities to optimise value and mitigate risks.

  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices related to commercial and contractual matters.

  • Support the preparation of Terms of Reference, PQQ, ITT, and other commercial and project documents, ensuring alignment with company strategies and customer requirements.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or relevant equivalent qualification.

  • Experience in contract analysis, procurement, or a related role.

  • Knowledge of contract law and commercial terms.

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • An understanding of financial principles and pricing structures

  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
