This large 2 form entry primary school located in South Manchester is looking to appoint an additional Teaching Assistant to work in Year 3 providing behaviour management strategies for a small group of pupils.
This Teaching Assistant job will run until April and then be extended if a high level of intervention is still needed.
The successful candidate will be dynamic with the confidence to lead initiatives to manage behaviour.

For a specialist Teaching Assistant to come and lead behaviour management programmes for a small group of pupils across two Year 3 classes.
Knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum is essential as the successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for spending part of the day leading adapted sessions with these pupils alongside implementing behaviour management strategies to help them interact with the class as a whole.

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant job, you will hold a Level 3 or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification, and have at least 6 months reference-able experience of working in a Primary school in the last 2 years.

A proven record of managing challenging behaviour and supporting children to understand the route of their frustrations is essential.
