It has expanded significantly, now operating over 900 depots across the UK and Europe operating on a well-known trade-only model, ensuring competitive prices and excellent service for its customers.
Your new role
As an Internal Audit Manager, you will get the chance to gain direct exposure to the Head of Internal Audit. You will be working with a collaborative and supportive internal audit team, both managing junior auditors and providing hands-on end-to-end work to deliver audits across finance, operations and IT.

- Engaging with a leadership team to plan and execute audit assignments.
- Auditing projects across finance, operations and IT - despite being management, it's still a hands-on role, with all the team involved!
- Managing Junior auditors
- Very flat structure - reporting into Head of Internal Audit and C-Suite exposure
- Reporting finds to the audit committee
- Utilises data analytics to enhance reporting
- The ability to simplify complex technical issues for broader understanding and influence.
- The ability to spot key risks and plan audits throughout the process.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in internal auditing across Finance, Operations, and IT within large organisations, ideally listed.
- Relevant professional qualifications (IIA Diploma/CIA, ACCA/ACA/CIMA) are required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced at managing junior auditors.
- Proficient in data analytics development and reporting.
- French language skills are an advantage but not essential.
