Your new role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Site Manager to join our clients' dynamic team. The successful candidate will support the Site Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

  • Assist the Site Manager with planning and coordinating construction activities.
  • Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and address any issues promptly.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and material deliveries.
  • Assist in managing project budgets and schedules, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Support the Site Manager in resolving any on-site challenges and ensuring smooth project execution

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
  • SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS essential
  • A degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
