**Development Manager required to join the Investment & Development division of a Tier 1 Contractor**

Your new company

A privately owned, multi-award-winning investment and development company is the property division of a Tier 1 Contractor which has operated throughout the UK & Ireland for in excess 50 years.

With offices in London, Belfast, Dublin and Cookstown, the company specialises in substantial mixed-use city centre regeneration projects, focusing on the development of high-quality office, hotel, student and build-to-rent residential accommodation.

Due to ongoing contract awards and an enviable pipeline of work coming through, they now require an additional Development Manager to join their successful team on the development side.

Your new role

The Development Manager will work with the wider Development team to deliver the company’s development projects and business development activities together with assuming responsibility for the proactive asset management and letting of the Company’s commercial property portfolio to maximise rents and value.

The Development Manager will be involved in all matters relating to the letting and development process from inception to completion, analysis of rental and sale offers, development appraisal and development financial modelling, drafting of business cases as well as management of third-party service providers and business development activities.

What you'll need to succeed

To perform this role at the standard expected, it is essential that you meet the following criteria.
  • 3rd level qualification in a construction / property development or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years commercial property development and letting experience
  • Detailed knowledge of development appraisals, financial modelling of development projects and analysis of development proposals
  • Experience of successfully managing a team, working as part of a team and across teams
  • Ability to work under pressure to strict and exacting deadlines and react quickly, professionally and effectively to ad hoc situations
  • Tenacious with the ability to get all tasks completed efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal, planning, IT and communication skills
