Assistant Company Secretary role in a Professional Services Firm

Your new company

A new player to the Prof Services arena, and boy are they making huge strides in the industry. Now, before you look away as it's prof services, please read on. Some of the best Co-Sec's I know are working here. They are hugely experienced and ambitious, so you should be too. The team is headed up by someone who I have personally known for over 15 years. They are simply great to work for and are hugely inspirational. What's another reason to join them? Well, the variety and exposure you will gain will be second to none.

Your new role

As an Assistant Company Secretary, you’ll take the day-to-day lead in providing services for a large client portfolio. Leveraging their market-leading technology, meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and delivering exceptional service to their clients, this is an exciting role. Your responsibilities include overseeing consultants who support client portfolios, providing effective reporting to the management team, and collaborating on global-scale projects such as entity rationalisations, M&A, change management, and corporate change services. Additionally, you’ll coordinate multi-jurisdiction managed service engagements, lead client meetings, maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to various initiatives within the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this amazing opportunity, you should have;

  • A high level of expertise in global entity management and/or global corporate governance, preferably from a professional service background.
  • A desire to commit your career to professional services and develop comprehensive knowledge and experience in global corporate services, entity management, governance, and transaction-related matters.
  • The ability to take ownership of your work and see tasks through to completion.
  • Strong communication skills, adept at stakeholder management, and a collaborative team member.
  • An organised approach with robust project management abilities.
  • An eye for detail and experience delivering under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in written English, numeracy, analytical thinking, and comprehension.
  • The ability to remain composed under pressure, be proactive, and take responsibility.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and experience using legal entity management technology.

What you'll get in return

  • Meritocratic scope for career progression
  • Joining a close-knit team with an excellent culture
  • Flexible and hybrid working
  • Health and wellbeing rewards
  • Market rate salary
