• Partner with regional operations teams across various sites / branches (Yorkshire and the North), providing insight and understanding, ensuring the group meets its financial objectives.
• Standardise and formalise processes as well as drive rigour across the national network.
• Have a desire to “get under the bonnet” and “have a view”, dissect operational processes and propose KPIs to measure and drive productivity and make the right commercial decisions
• Regular reporting of financial performance and KPIs and associated commentary
• Ownership of budget process for the Region(s)
• Partner with branch managers on capital project approvals and reporting
• Provide assurance to the FD that revenue & costs are appropriately recognised and leakage is minimised
• Review period end close, identifying opportunities or risks that may appear

• Heads of Ops, Ops Finance Director, Head of Commercial Finance as well as Operations, People Teams, Sales and Marketing personnel.
• Responsible for financial performance for the UK in the North & Scotland

You will ideally be a qualified accountant with extensive business partnering experience who enjoys working closely with operational teams, providing insight and expertise to make the most of commercial business opportunities.
