Job Role:Senior Outreach Worker
Salary: £27,000 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Exeter

As a Senior Outreach Worker, you will support the Service Manager in overseeing the smooth operation of local projects, ensuring the team is well-supported and delivering person-centred support to clients. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality of service, ensuring all contractual obligations are met through effective management, while maintaining a visible and active presence within local teams.

Please note, that this role will include working weekends and unsocial hours and being able to walk a number of miles in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities include:
  • To undertake assertive outreach and hot spot visits across the locality area
  • Provide supportive line management and supervision for team members, ensuring regular reviews are in place
  • Deliver positive outcomes for our clients, including client involvement
  • Carry out effective multi-agency working with external agencies to maximise opportunities for clients
  • Maintain client records that are accurate and fully updated using our client record system
  • Since job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the post holder may be required to undertake other duties which are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to my own vehicle – business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work.
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or people with complex needs
    And challenging behaviours
  • Ability to effectively manage your own, as well as direct reports, workload
