Temporary purchase ledger clerk

Your new role

Hays are recruiting a temporary purchase ledger clerk on behalf of a well-known Bristol organisation. The company are looking for an individual to support their team for approximately 6–8 weeks. Pay for the role is dependent on experience. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 35 hours. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the day-to-day accounts payable function
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices
  • Bank statement reconciliations
  • Ad-hoc finance activities for the wider finance team

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a high-volume accounts payable function

  • Strong communication skills

  • Always looking to drive improvement
