A leader in their field, based in Stoke-on-Trent, and are looking for a Payroller to join their team on a temporary basis

Your new role

• Processing of timely and accurate weekly, monthly & 4 weekly payrolls
• Assisting and advising on payroll, pension legislation, (particularly auto enrolment) & GDPR regulations and providing subject matter expertise in relation to payroll best practice.
• Full end to end knowledge of all aspects of the payroll service, including reconciliations, reporting and BACS payments and ensuring all statutory requirements are met.
• Dealing with payroll queries
• Weekend and month-end processes
• New starters and leavers administration
• Calculation of salary deductions
• Year-end processing including producing P60s and P11Ds
• Calculation of employees’ entitlement to Occupational Sick Pay, SSP, SMP and SPP.
• Manage the Childcare Voucher Scheme.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in an end to end payroll role and have the ability to hit the ground running. A positive, can-do attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
