Your new role

The successful candidate will aid the companies' efforts in playing a pivotal role in the logistics and supply chain industry. We are looking for a committed and proficient Network Engineer to join their team, playing a crucial role in maintaining the seamless operation of the companies' network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and initial troubleshooting for network issues, acting as the first point of contact for network-related incidents.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and managing network issues via helpdesk, adhering to SLAs.
  • Log, track, and resolve incidents using a ticketing system; handle alerts from monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate with stakeholders to resolve issues and provide updates.
  • Conduct monthly site audits and attend team meetings to ensure network integrity and performance.

What you'll need to succeed

  • CCNA certification and proven network troubleshooting experience.
  • Proficiency in firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
  • Preferred experience with Fortinet firewalls, Cisco/Aruba switching, and Cisco/FortiAP wireless systems.
  • Ability to read logs and packet captures; review network infrastructure for end-of-life devices and expiring certificates.
  • Familiarity with change management processes and strong communication skills.
