RE/ PSHE Maternity Cover - January start

This school is a vibrant and inclusive secondary school for students aged 11-16, located in Surrey. It serves approximately 1600 students and is known for its commitment to providing a first-class education that fosters innovation and lifelong learning.

The curriculum is broad and balanced, with a strong emphasis on both academic and personal development. Students benefit from a wide range of subjects and extracurricular activities, including sports, arts, and the Duke of Edinburgh Award. The school is dedicated to meeting the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring everyone make good progress.

The school community values respect, diversity, and the well-being of its students. It offers numerous opportunities for students to engage with the wider community and develop a sense of social responsibility. The leadership team is proactive in promoting a positive learning environment and continuously seeks to improve the quality of education provided.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our dedicated team starting January 2024. This position is to cover maternity leave and will last up to one year or until the post holder returns, whichever comes first. Both ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

At this school, RE and PSHE are thriving and highly valued subjects. We are looking for a passionate and committed teacher to teach RE and PSHE at Key Stages 3 and 4. While the ability to teach another humanities subject is an advantage, it is not essential.

About the school

  • Thriving Subjects:
RE and PSHCE are highly regarded and flourishing at the school.
  • Supportive Environment:
Join a team that values collaboration and professional growth.
  • Inclusive Community:
We welcome applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers.
  • Professional Development:
Opportunities for continuous learning and career advancement.

Be part of a school that prioritises innovative and student-centered teaching.
