Your new role
Working as part of the Networks Team, you will undertake a senior role within a team of Network Support Analysts and technicians, utilising all available resources to ensure fulfilment of the terms and conditions of the service level agreements for ICT Network Services between ICT Services and its customers. This role will cover a range of technical areas including Enterprise routing/switching, Wi-Fi Enterprise Wi-Fi based hardware/software, Cisco SD-A and Cisco ACI.

You will work to design, implement and support the IT Network Infrastructure estate, including security and a large Wi-Fi estate. You will demonstrate an extensive knowledge of network infrastructure, introducing new systems, tools and services where required, through the use of management software and scheduling of resources. You will liaise with several key stakeholders, attending and contributing to Service Level Agreement meetings.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Extensive experience of technical ICT Networks Design, implementation and support within a broad and complex IT operational environment.
  • Knowledge of IT networking, network topology and design, core enterprise routing and switching
  • Knowledge of the implementation, maintenance and administration of all areas of enterprise routing/switching, Wi-Fi Enterprise Wi-Fi based hardware/software, Cisco SD-A and Cisco ACI
  • Knowledge of IT, Networking Protocols, and associated services such as TCP/IP, DHCP/IPAM, DNS, proxy servers, web browsers, databases and external gateways.
  • Technical knowledge of data network support
  • An understanding of ITIL and its application across the service lifecycle
  • Experience using Cisco IOS/ Nexus at Enterprise level.
