Your new role
A key Finance Business Partner role, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and working closely with depot Senior Management Teams. You will deliver quality reports and analysis and play a key role in decision support. This will include d eveloping financial plans snd budgets, ensuring robust financial controls and improving processes. You will share clear and effective financial insights with senior leaders to help inform their decision-making and provide ad-hoc financial analysis, as required. You will work on cross-finance projects to deliver improvements to control, reporting, and all financial insights.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualifed accountant, with experience of a Finance Business Partner role in a large and complex business. Previous experience in the logistics & distribution sector would be an advantage, but is not essential. You will ideally have experience in supporting business transformations and general process improvements. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be highly IT literate. You will also possess the ability to communicate complex insights in a clear and accessible way and enjoy relationship-building. This will include the ability to influence and challenge people when required.

What you'll get in return
Initially a 10 month Fixed Term Contract, with the possibility of extension or even a permanent appointment. A generous market salary on a pro-rata basis. Hybrid flexible working from office and home.
