Our client, a rapidly expanding international company, is seeking a Derivatives Operations Manager specialising in power and energy commodities and derivatives operations. Role Overview:

• Assist with Traders in the full trade lifecycle of commodities.
• Assist with negotiations and coordination with exchanges.
• Manage trade support processes across Commodities and Derivatives
• Ensure trade reconciliation and settlement processes.
• Lead process improvements using new technologies.
• Manage a small team, mentoring and developing team members.

Qualifications:

• This candidate must have demonstrable experience working with commodities (power, energy and oil).
• Must have experience working with exchanges.
• Strong Management experience.
• Degree or equivalent.
• 5 years in the energy sector and commodity trading operations.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and derivatives.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

This is a hybrid opportunity with London offices, paying up to £95k dependent on experience, plus bonus and a full suite of benefits.
