Scheme Manager (16 hours p/w) required in Ormskirk

We are seeking a Scheme Manager to support our client on a temporary, part-time basis in Ormskirk. You will be working 16 hours per week, across 3 days (Monday, Wednesday and Fridays).

Your new role

  • Carrying out periodic health & safety compliance checks and assisting to identify issues, raise work orders and manage reactive repairs

  • Morning check ins with the most vulnerable residents on site

  • Voids, viewings, lettings and sign-ups

  • Managing low level anti-social behaviour and rent arrears

  • Maintaining a positive environment for residents and encouraging engagement within the scheme & community

  • Responding to general enquiries and complaints

  • Providing basic advice/guidance regarding benefits and mental health - signposting where appropriate

  • Keeping up to date and accurate notes & files on housing management system

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience within a similar social housing setting and working with vulnerable adults

  • Understanding of housing & tenancy management principles - experience of dealing with voids, repairs, ASB, arrears, lettings

  • Knowledge and understanding of health & safety regulations

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage conflicting priorities
