Your new role

The firm are looking for an enthusiastic and approachable solicitor to join their team, handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters for their corporate clients and individual senior executives. Your responsibilities will include drafting policies and procedures, agreements and contracts, representing clients in Employment Tribunal cases, advising on redundancy, restructuring, and TUPE, enforcing post-termination covenants, and providing corporate support. You will collaborate closely with partners and team members, but will also take the lead on your own cases as appropriate. You will be given early responsibility and trusted to manage your work in a supportive, collaborative, and sociable environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • The ideal candidate will have between 2-4 years of post-qualification experience.

  • Have a broad range of experience in contentious and non-contentious employment law within a private practice setting.

  • The ability to manage and delegate work to others where appropriate.

  • Strong client management skills.

  • Interest in business development.
