Your new company
We are partnering with a tech start-up to find a Senior Frontend Engineer (React) to join their enthusiastic and rapidly growing team. Ideally, you’ll have 5+ years of industry experience delivering software products. The role will involve developing the frontend of their generative AI system and closely working with the team to ensure the software is robust. Due to the nature of the project - valid and current SC clearance is needed.

In your role, you will
  • Develop and maintain high-quality user interfaces using React.js.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Translate UI/UX designs into responsive and interactive web applications.
  • Implement and manage state using libraries such as Redux or Context API.
  • Ensure code quality through writing clean, maintainable code and conducting thorough code reviews.
  • Mentor and guide junior frontend developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensure unit test coverage that will deliver quality, maintainability, and reliability of projects.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Current and Valid SC Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React.js.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, React Query, and integration with backend services.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend build tools and bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Vite).
  • Experience with Git.
  • The ability to work in an Agile environment and be adaptive to shifting priorities.
