Quantity Surveyor - Estimator / Construction / Negotiable Salary

Your new company

Regional housing contractor specialising in private new build and residential, focusing on high quality homes, with projects across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and East Midlands

Your new role

Due to an increase in workload, they are now looking for a Quantity Surveyer/Estimator to join the team in Peterborough reporting into the Director. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of their projects.

Key Duties:
  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
  • Manage project costs and ensure they remain within budget.
  • Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and other documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare reports.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • Quantity Surveyor qualification preferable but not essential
