We are urgently seeking two skilled and passionate chefs to work at North View Hospital in North Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality meals.
About the Role
Location: North View Hospital, Delaunays Road, Manchester, M8 5RB
Position: Chef (Band 3)
Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours/week), Working 5 days out of 7 (may include weekends)
Flexible start time, but no later than 9:15 AM End time: 6:30 PM
Temporary (Immediate Start - Mid-January 2025)
Rate: £12.31 - £13.13/hour PAYE
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals in line with dietary requirements.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.
Assist with menu planning and food ordering as required.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
Previous experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the role and team.
Immediate availability to start work.
