The Finance Operations Specialist will work within the local finance team and will be responsible for preparing and processing accounting and payment transactions in accordance with established requirements within the sub-ledger and payment systems. Key tasks will include coordinating daily processing of end customer payment transactions, manufacturer invoicing, commission calculations, reconciliations, and queries within agreed timescales with a strong focus on controls aligning to BNP control framework.

• Daily Finance Ops:
  1. Assist with calculating, reconciling and paying Commission to the retailer network.
  2. Review Commission payments to check for accuracy in calculation, correct errors.
  3. Validate manufacturer supported items.
  4. Reconcile and Invoice manufacturer supported programmes.
  5. Identifying, track and resolve queries on the ledgers, escalating as appropriate.
  6. Proactively resolving and creating action plans for reconciling items.
  7. Preparing daily, weekly and monthly journals for posting on the general ledger system.
  8. Regular clearing of Sub-ledger customer accounts.
  9. Assist with various banking queries.
  10. Ensuring aged items are worked appropriately in a timely manner.
  11. Involvement in ad-hoc projects to assist in implementing efficiencies/new processes.
  12. Providing support to the wider accounting team as and when required
  13. Ensuring ALL process are kept updated and documented.
  14. Imbed BNP control framework and policies in ALL tasks.
