Hays are working closely with a well-known and established financial technology consultancy who are embarking on a large-scale database migration project and are seeking a highly skilled Technical Enterprise Architect.

What you'll need to succeed

• Application Transformation: Lead the transformation of legacy applications to modern architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Data Transformation: Oversee the migration and transformation of data, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business objectives.
• Overall Design: Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural designs that meet business and technical requirements.
• Dealing with Business Stakeholders: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Leading Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
• Mentoring the Team: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Multi-Year Complex Migration/Modernisation Project Experience: Lead and manage multi-year complex migration and modernisation projects, ensuring successful delivery.
• Brownfield vs Greenfield: Apply experience in both brownfield (modernising existing architecture) and greenfield (building from scratch) projects to deliver optimal solutions.
• No Vendor Implementations Needed: Focus on in-house development and implementation, avoiding reliance on external vendors.
• Build Plan and Design Focused: Develop detailed build plans and designs, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Worked with Devs: Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation of architectural designs.
