Hays are working closely with a well-known and established financial technology consultancy who are embarking on a large-scale database migration project and are seeking a highly skilled enterprise architect, with a focus on data.

Your new role

• Lead the design and implementation of data infrastructure solutions.
• Oversee data security, governance, and integration across multiple sources.
• Manage the migration of large databases from legacy systems.
• Team collaboration to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Conduct code reviews and provide architectural guidance for C++ and Java applications.
• Ensure smooth integration of multiple applications, databases, and target systems.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in complex database migrations and data integration.
• Strong background in investment banking, particularly related to securities.
• Proficiency in C++ and Java, with a focus on code review and architecture.
• Solid understanding of UNIX and/or Oracle environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
