Role Overview
As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting employee health and safety initiatives. You will assess and manage workplace health risks, promote wellness programs, and provide health education to employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments and screenings for employees.
- Develop and implement occupational health policies and programs.
- Provide first aid and emergency response as needed.
- Advise management on health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address workplace health issues.
- Educate employees on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
- 2 years of adult nursing, phlebotomy and vaccinations experience.
- Experience in occupational health, public health, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
