Senior Quantity Surveyor (Civil) - Permanent - £60,000+ DOE

Your new role:
They are on the lookout for a talented and driven Senior Civil Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is your chance to work on exciting projects, make a significant impact, and grow within a company that values your expertise and ambition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial and contractual aspects of civil projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Prepare detailed tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Conduct risk assessments, value management, and cost control.
  • Provide expert advice on contractual claims and disputes.
  • Analyse project outcomes and compile comprehensive progress reports.
  • Stay updated on current building contracts and industry standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes and contract law.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Office, project management tools).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
