Focussing on providing the best possible experience, they are looking to bring in an experience Service Designer to their busy team.
Your new role
As a Service Designer, you will focus on designing and improving services to enhance the experience of our end users. You will conduct user research to gather insights and understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations. By developing user personas, journey maps, and service blueprints, you will visualize and communicate the user experience effectively. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will define service design strategies that align with business goals. You will prototype and test service concepts, iterating based on user feedback. Facilitating workshops and co-creation sessions with users and stakeholders will be a key part of your role, generating innovative ideas and solutions. Additionally, you will create detailed service design documentation, including wireframes, process flows, and interaction models. Advocating for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization, you will play a crucial role in driving user satisfaction and engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience of the following:- Proven experience in service design, user experience design, or a similar role.
- Strong skills in user research, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Experience in creating user personas, journey maps, and service blueprints.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with users and stakeholders.
- Strong documentation skills, including wireframes, process flows, and interaction models.
- Advocacy for user-centered design principles and best practices within an organization.
What you'll get in return
£200 - £300 Per day (Inside IR35)
Mostly Remote working (1 day per month in office in Glasgow)
