Your new role

My client is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead and contribute to strategic, transformation, and business-led projects. This role involves managing major projects that impact operations and service delivery, analysing and reviewing business systems, and designing and developing services as part of the IT program.

  • Manage the planning and delivery of multiple or large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Engage with senior and executive management, delivering presentations and gathering requirements.
  • Conduct interviews and workshops to define existing systems and future requirements, translating them into system specifications.
  • Oversee IT-related projects, coordinating internal and external resources, and ensuring adherence to change control procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate the redesign of service delivery for efficiency and value.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of systems and processes and stay updated on application developments in relevant sectors.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and contribute to the development of disaster recovery plans.
  • Foster continuous development through training, knowledge sharing, and building positive relationships within the IT department and with system users.
What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in business and systems analysis within large corporate environments, including operational, digital, and technology settings.
  • Successful track record in redesigning service delivery, participating in service development, and managing performance (people, process, and systems).
  • Experience in gaining consensus for solutions from various stakeholders and managing complex IT projects with large budgets and strategic impact.
  • Exposure to ITIL, PRINCE2, AGILE, LEAN methodologies, and systems development and implementations.
  • Experience leading teams, managing staff, and confidently leading major projects with excellent communication and active listening skills.
