Job Title: Prison Driver
Location: Wandsworth Prison
Salary: £16.62 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Job Description:
Wandsworth Prison is seeking a reliable and responsible Prison Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting prisoners to various appointments, including hospital visits, court appearances, and other necessary locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive prisoners to and from appointments.
- Ensure the secure and timely transportation of prisoners.
- Collaborate with security personnel and prison officers who will accompany you on every drive.
- Adhere to all relevant driving regulations and prison protocols.
Requirements:
- Valid Category C UK Driver's Licence.
- Excellent driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High level of reliability and trustworthiness.
