Hays Education are working with a mixed secondary school in Gloucestershire, who are seeking an outstanding classroom practitioner to teach Music full or part-time across KS3 and KS4. We work closely with this school to provide day-to-day staffing needs, long-term supply and permanent placements. Your new role
You will be supporting the Music department full time across KS3 and KS4, starting in January 2025.
In order to be a Secondary Music Teacher, you will need to have qualified teacher status or be looking to complete your induction year. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up-to-date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst always demonstrating a professional manner. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables. It is imperative that you have good communication skills, as this is crucial when speaking to other members of staff and people in the school.
