Management Accountant - North Nottingham

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (up to £45,000) - Study Support can be provided.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: On-site (North Nottingham)

About the Role

My client are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of their financial processes and providing essential support to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Month-End Reporting: Manage the month-end process, including sales reconciliation, accruals, prepayments, and banking.
  • Fixed Asset Register & Rebates: Take primary responsibility for maintaining the fixed asset register and managing rebates.
  • VAT Compliance: Ensure compliance with VAT returns.
  • Transactional Postings: Handle transactional postings for banking, payroll, and accruals/prepayments.
  • Business Support: Provide support to enhance the finance department's impact on the wider business.
Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Preferably qualified or part-qualified accountant. (study support can be provided)
  • Experience: Strong experience in an accounting department (experience in manufacturing is desirable but not essential).
