Opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a multi-award-winning IS & Cyber Training Specialist.

Your new role

As a key member of the senior management team, the Business Development Manager will lead the company's growth. This role is pivotal in driving new customer acquisition, expanding existing accounts, and enhancing the overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mix of sales, technical, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire new customers and expand the customer base. Develop and implement new business strategies.
  • Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall sales goals. Grow existing accounts and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Understand and keep up to date in the field of Information & Cyber Security.
  • Onboard new vendors and integrate new products. Ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Contribute to business strategy development and execution. Drive personal and team objectives aligned with company goals.
  • Manage a small team, providing leadership and guidance. Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment.
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements. Design and architect complex learning solutions.
  • Deliver keynote speeches and presentations at conferences. Represent the company at various forums.
  • Continuously improve the sales process. Implement best practices and innovative approaches.
  • Own and manage the CRM system. Utilise CRM data to drive sales strategies.


What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years in business development/sales roles or good sales experience (at least 2 years) and a strong background in Information Security (at least 3 years).

  • Proven track record in business development and sales.

  • Strong technical knowledge and solution design ability.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience with CRM systems and sales process improvement.

  • Formal certification in Information Security such as BSc, MCs, CISMP, CISSP, CISM, CEH etc.

  • UK Driving licence
