Product Control Accountant | International Banking | London

Your new company

Working at an International Bank in their London branch, you will join the finance team in their Product Control function. Due to increased reporting requirements and a variety of new projects, the team is growing and looking to take on new staff.

Your new role

Working as a Product Control Accountant, you will be responsible for the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly P&L and review of the Treasury and Loan and Deposits Balance Sheet. You will also assist with analysis of the FX P&L, Hedge Accounting, Independent Price Verification, Balance Sheet Substantiation, and more. Further, you will be responsible for assisting with new product processes including approvals, product info, and any other required data.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you will be 3+ Years PQE in ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent and have this experience spent in a bank's Product Control function. You will need extensive knowledge of financial products like Loans, Deposits, Interest Rate Swaps, Bons, and FX Derivatives. You will also require knowledge of RMB and Clearing Activities as well as knowledge of FTP methodologies. Strong proficiency in MS Office with VBA and SQL will also be required.
