Your new company
They are a world-class engineering services and nuclear organisation. They connect people, data and technology to transform the world's infrastructure and energy systems. Due to continued project wins, a Document Controller is sought to work closely with the project management team to control the flow of documents and information across the multiple Programme stakeholders.
Your new role
What you'll need to succeed
Management of all stages of document workflows through the document control software (REBIM / GliderBIM).Management of document filing structure within Sharepoint working space.
Periodic review and update of the Programme Document Control Process to ensure continued suitability.
Brief new personnel on the Programme Document Control Process and provide guidance on the operation of the software.
Manage document numbering, status, and revision control in accordance with the Document Control Process.
Provide quality assurance on supplier documentation against the requirements of the Document Control Process.
Act as the primary point of contact for all document workflow activities with the supply chain partners.
Liaise with the corresponding individual in the Navy customer organisation to ensure efficient distribution with the relevant stakeholders and return of feedback within the required timescales.
In conjunction with the Project Management and Engineering teams, maintain a deliverable look-ahead plan to forecast planned delivery dates for upcoming documents.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in document control activities.
Detail-focussed, with a process-orientated approach to completing tasks.
Strong organisational skills to ensure activities are completed efficiently and in line with agreed timescales.
Proficient in all common Microsoft packages, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience of working in a client organisation (Desirable)
