Your new job as a Commercial Account Handler/ Broker, you will be working for one of the UK's top independent insurance brokers who strongly believe the relationships they have built with their clients, in order to fully understand their unique insurance requirements is why they have had over 120 years of success. With offices throughout the country, they have a long and distinguished legacy in providing insurance services and solutions. Due to continued growth within the Commercial team, a Commercial Account Handler position has become available.
Your new role
Your new job working as a Commercial Account Handler/ Broker means you will be responsible for ensuring that the best personal service is given to the clients where you will be dealing with them from inception to completion. Working alongside Account Executives your duties will include handling cases up to a net premium of up to £100,000 average £5,000 - £10,000. Handling the renewal process from cradle on own or with an account executive dependent and be responsible for producing and proposing new business presentations for underwriter. s Use of Acturis daily as well as preparing presentations to the market Business handled a variety of policy types, mainly Commercial combined, management liability and property owners.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Commercial Account Handler or SME Account handler ideally with experience in ACTURIS, will lead to your success in securing this role. Ideally you will be experienced with the use of Acturis and be able to prepare suitable documentation for the client’s requirements. You will also have a good knowledge of cover requirements for commercial clients.
