Business Change Consultant - Asset Management/Private Equity - £750pd via Umbrella

Your new role

We are seeking a dynamic Consultant/Project Manager with extensive experience in asset management and private equity, combined with a strong business background and expertise in change management. The ideal candidate will excel in engaging with senior stakeholders to identify business opportunities, facilitate discussions regarding impactful solutions, and effectively execute the agreed-upon implementations.

This role is specifically focused on driving business change, not IT implementation or tech change.

If you specialise in delivering either M&A, operational model redesign, or product launches or office relocations, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with senior stakeholders to diagnose issues and opportunities within the organisation.
  • Facilitate discussions to explore multiple solutions, articulating the benefits and disadvantages of each option.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases in collaboration with stakeholders, achieving necessary sign-offs for project implementation.
  • Drive the delivery of agreed solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Conduct consultative analyses to identify desired changes and navigate the feasibility and pros/cons of available options.
  • Utilise strong open questioning and active listening skills to understand stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Leverage data literacy for informed decision-making, understanding data lineage and data mastering principles.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in consultancy or project management with a focus on business change initiatives.
  • Extensive experience exclusively in asset management and private equity sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of dissecting complex business scenarios.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Data literate with a good understanding of data management practices within a business context.
  • A consultative mindset with the ability to facilitate productive discussions.
