Senior AP Assistant - 14 Month FTC

Your new company

I am working with a telecommunications company who are looking to expand their accounts payable function. You will be working within a team of 4 in the accounts payable function. The finance team is central to partnering with business leaders to provide accurate, timely and quality information to support their growth plans. Their offices are based near London Liverpool Street, and they work on a hybrid basis with only having to go to the offices 2 days per week.

Your new role

The Senior Accounts Payable Assistant will be responsible for supporting the AP Manager and be responsible for the primary support of Accounts Payable (A/P) function.

  • Oversight of invoice entry, coding and keying of invoices
  • Review of accounts payable journals and monthly Ageing Analysis
  • Monitoring of PO matching and investigation of discrepancies
  • Assist Accounts Payable team with the necessary research to resolve issues
  • Preparation of weekly payment run
  • Monthly reconciliations and reporting in line with the month end timetable
  • Dealing with audit queries for both internal and external auditors
  • Effectively communicate and partner with other finance teams

What you'll need to succeed

Full knowledge of the End-to-End Ap process.

Have held a supervisory role within AP previously

Significant experience in multi-site / location accounts payable support

5+ years in an Accounts Payable Position
