Regeneration Capital Development Officer required by a large public body based in Ballymena

Your new company

The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a large public body based in Ballymena, to recruit a Regeneration Capital Development Officer on a temporary contract basis for an initial period of 12 months with the possibility of further extension.

Your new role

Reporting to the Capital Regeneration Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of assigned projects as well as supporting the development of the regeneration capital programme and the strategic projects programme of work to include:-

- Delivery of the regeneration and capital plan on time and within budget.
- Delivery of a quality project(s) meeting the needs of both the organisation and end users.
- Providing advice and guidance on regeneration related matters.
- Working in partnership with a range of internal and external stakeholders, from both an advocacy / facilitation and direct delivery perspective, to ensure delivery of regeneration and development projects and initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you should have the following:

A third level qualification in a related subject such as Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Regeneration, Project Management, Economic Development, Business with a minimum of two years’ experience to include:

• Managing and delivering successful capital/development/regeneration projects or initiatives
• Building and maintaining effective collaborative relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders at a strategic level
• Successful management of resources to enable successful delivery of services.

If you do not possess such qualifications, you should have 4+ years’ experience as outlined above.
