Quantity Surveyor (Permanent Role)
Location: Larkhill - Role is home based
Salary: Depending on experience £50,000

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a permanent basis. This role involves working on Ministry of Defence (MOD) housing stock and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in social housing, housing maintenance, or housing facilities, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality service and maintaining excellent standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee MOD housing stock and maintenance projects.
  • Conduct cost analysis and prepare detailed reports.
  • Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring value for money.
  • Prepare and manage contracts, including variations and final accounts.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in social housing, housing maintenance, or housing facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of quantity surveying practices and principles.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
