Antiques Operations Manager, London, £70,000 + Bonus, Immediate Start!
Our client, a large multi-industry business with Headquarters in the Middle East, are looking to recruit an industry-experienced Antiques expert to join a new arm of their ever-growing business portfolio. Working primarily in London with the ability/opportunity to travel overseas, this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate.
Our client have been established in the Middle East for a number of years, and boast a large number of business ventures, ranging across industries. A particular passion of theirs is the Antiques world, hence their huge investment into developing a very successful operation. In order for this business to thrive, they require the perfect candidate to lead on strategy - in a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the entire Antiques operation
- Managing 3 x FTE within the London office/factory (Repair Technicians)
- Buying antiques with a view to sell on at profit
- Assisting with the shipment of 'repaired' antiques to company showroom/store in the Middle East
- Ensuring a smooth, functional back-office operation
In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:
- Minimum 15+ years' experience within the Antiques industry
- Knowledge of Antiques auctions
- Exposure to/experience of working close to Antiques repair/storage/logistics
- Knowledge of market value of Antique goods
- Excellent communication skills
In addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client are also offering a discretionary bonus, the ability to travel overseas (Middle East) and amazing progression opportunities!
