Your new company

You will be working for a specialist housing infrastructure contractor based in East Anglia. They are seeking an experienced and motivated Groundworks Project Manager to join their dynamic team and lead our groundworks projects to success.

Your new role

As a Groundworks/Civils Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of groundworks projects from inception to completion. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

  • Plan, execute, and finalise infrastructure according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and site personnel.
  • Develop project plans and schedules, monitor progress, and adjust as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates and reports.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience as a Groundworks Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of groundworks, civil engineering, and construction processes.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or civil engineering.
