I am thrilled to represent a prestigious and well-established organisation based in County Antrim in the search for an Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic and growing finance team. Your new role

Working within the existing team, you will be responsible for a range of duties including:

  • Handling supplier purchase orders, invoices, and reconciling monthly statements

  • Creating suggested payment lists

  • Conducting weekly bank reconciliations

  • Monthly reconciliation of intercompany balances

  • Maintaining control accounts

  • Supporting the development and reporting of management information on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, candidates should be part-qualified accountants (or qualified by experience) or qualified accounting technicians. The ideal candidate will have recent experience working in a fast-paced environment, possessing excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are a must, along with the ability to work efficiently and complete tasks to a high standard.
