Experienced SEN Primary Teacher required for a part time job in Widnes

We are currently working with a large two-form entry Primary School in Widnes to recruit an experienced SEN teacher to work in their EYFS & KS1 Resource Base. The school are looking for a passionate and engaging EYFS/KS1 to join the team on a long-term basis. The role is ongoing for the rest of the academic year and will be working on Thursday and Friday's.

Your new role

As a teacher wroking in a resource provision you will work closely with the school SENCO to support EYFS & KS1 aged pupils access a bespoke and engaging lessons tailored to their learning needs.

•Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children’s development across all areas (physical, social, emotional, and cognitive)
• Creating a safe and stimulating learning environment
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Assessing and tracking children’s progress
• Collaborating with other staff members to enhance the overall nursery experience

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role you will need to have:
  • Qualified teacher status.
  • An in depth knowledge of the EYFS & KS1 curriculum.
  • Experience using delivering phonics interventions.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN
  • An up to date DBS or willingness to get one.
  • The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
