Providing efficient, timely and professional support to brokers for both new business & renewals, midterm adjustment and general enquiries. Due to exciting growth within their team, a fantastic opportunity for a Motor Underwriter to join their London team has arisen.

Your new role

Your new role as a Motor Claims Adjuster means that you will be responsible for responding to all new claims advice delegated for your handling in a timely fashion and to maintain a record of all such claims. This includes setting up files and obtaining supporting documentation to allow settlement of such claims. Respond to queries from policyholders, brokers and any other applicable party in the appropriate manner, requesting supporting documentation for claims to enable a timely settlement whilst maintaining a commercia attitude towards settlement.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be an experienced motor claims professional with a keen grasp of figures, whilst also being comfortable and confident when speaking with policyholders, brokers, loss adjusters and solicitors. The ideal candidate would also have strong interpersonal and communication skills with good attention to detail and a willingness to take responsibility and accountability.
