Ruby on Rails Developer | Remote

We are seeking a talented Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team and work on developing and maintaining mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ruby on Rails and a passion for mobile technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain mobile applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer.
  • Strong understanding of mobile application development.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Knowledge of database systems, particularly PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with mobile development frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
  • Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
